Pokestuf is a local favorite Alhambra eatery serving the popular Hawaiian fish dish in rice bowls, noodle bowls, and salads. Poke, pronounced poke-ay and meaning “to slice,” is diced raw fish that can be served as an appetizer or a main dish and it is extremely satisfying. Poke salads contain seaweed, cucumber, avocado, and sesame seeds. A poke bowl with rice can have up to 700 calories. I recommend trying the spicy salmon with sriracha mayo and I give Pokestuf a 10/10, because they offer bowls and salads that are tasty, nutritious, and plentiful. Poke can be a bit pricy, with a bowl costing $12-$15 dollars depending on the size of your order. Boba is also available with your meal. If you have not visited Pokestuf on Main Street, I urge you to try it soon.
