On March 22 Garvey kicked off a March Madness of their own with a basketball tournament 3 on 3 competition. The champion teams were Connor’s Team (eighth-grade) and Slurp Fish Henry (seventh-grade).

All games were played on half courts where players cleared the ball behind the three point arc to reset the offense. The first team to reach 11 points wins, with each basket counting as 1 point, including shots behind the arc. All games were self-officiated using the honor system. Players called their own fouls. Ms. Liza, Ms. McDonald, and the Woodcraft staff resolved disputes.
