Mustang Staff

Starting on March 13 mornings will be darker and evenings will be brighter until 7 p.m. as Daylight Saving Time begins.

On November 7, mornings became brighter at 6 a.m. and evenings were darker at 5 p.m as Daylight Saving Time ended. In the US all states follow DST except for Arizona and Hawaii. American territories Puerto Rico and Guam do not observe DST. Following World War I, Congress passed the Standard Time Act, establishing time zones and declaring that all clocks would be moved ahead one hour at 2:00 a.m in early March. During WWII, DST was once again imposed to save fuel, reports The Old Farmer’s Almanac.
