At Minecraft Live the top updates included:

– a new player, Allay, a small fairy-like mob that dances
– a new Birch Forest with fallen trunks for sitting, mushrooms, and flowers
– Minecraft frogs that live in the Swamps
– Caves and cliffs full of stalactites and green meadows

As a sand box game, Minecraft gives players time to explore their creativity. Minecraft player Notch (Markus Persson) stated that this is game where players have “a limited tool set to use against the odds” and that’s what makes the game more challenging and fun.  I have been playing this game since 2011 and the game continues to surprise and interest me today.
