Students who raised funds for Garvey by selling chocolate were invited to a special BMX (bicycle motorcross) show on the volleyball court area outside during Period 6. The BMX stunt rider performed a number of jaw dropping tricks including tail whips, truck drivers, Euro table, Superman, and other bicycle acrobatics. Attendees were given tickets to the show and told to pick up a folding chair outside of the Garvey Theater to use during the performance.
